Weekly Diversions, vol. 21
Somehow my most ridiculous moments always occur in Venice (California, not Italy). Last year, I was frantically trying to film some footage of a lotion bottle floating away on a balloon. Not surprisingly, the heavy bottle would NOT float away so I had the questionable idea that emptying the bottle would help. There I stood, over a trash can, emptying out a spray bottle of lotion. Nothing to see here... Keep scooting along, rollerblader man. Of course, the bottle still didn’t float. This year, I was trying to get some footage for a Converse piece when me and all my stuff got hit by a rogue wave. The lifeguard was amused. Magically my laptop, camera and backup hard drive all survived. This week I’m still finding sand in my tripod and:
Thinking about finally getting some photos framed.
This blog is making me suspect that I should really be living in Paris.
Picked up these fun, fingerless gloves to keep me warm through the spring.
I was fascinated to read Pieter Hugo’s interview in Cool Hunting. Photographic conceptual brilliance.
I love email newsletters and want subscribe to ALL of these.
